THE PURPOSE
Painting for Panama is an extended project Lila Hudgins is working on in conjunction with JLM Christian Foundation, a charity organization founded by her high-school principal in Panama, MC Beauvil. Lila is continuously building up a series depicting life, people, and culture in Panama, including portraits of real people that JLM has helped. These paintings are to be sold independently, and at the Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair - The Original, from July 17-19. All profits made from the "Painting for Panama" exhibition will be donated to JLM, so that MC can continue to better the lives of the Panamanian population.
