Lila Hudgins, artista de veinte años nacida en Washington, D.C., se mudó al país centroamericano de Panamá cuando tenía solo dos años. Creció rodeada de una multitud de culturas e idiomas diferentes, así como de algunos de los paisajes de playa y jungla más hermosos que el mundo tiene para ofrecer. Ha hecho arte toda su vida, pero cuando comenzó a pintar al óleo a la edad de once años, vio cómo realmente era capaz de traducir su interpretación del mundo que la rodeaba en el lienzo.
Actualmente, Lila estudia en la Universidad de Michigan, Ann Arbor. Está cursando una licenciatura en Historia del Arte, pero dedica la mayor parte de su tiempo a pintar y desarrollar su práctica. Lila está trabajando actualmente en un proyecto extendido llamado Painting for Panama , una colección de arte y una exhibición benéfica para JLM Christian Foundation, una organización sin fines de lucro registrada en su país de origen, Panamá.
